This is a mechanized variation of the slump test and includes a workability of concrete determination based on the principle of subjecting the concrete to vibration after removal of the slump cone. It is mounted on a small vibrating table that operates at fixed amplitude and frequency. The completion time of the required vibration gives an indication of the concrete workability.
